What have the budgies been up to?

NO Don't go out again!

I have been out three times already today - once to the Post Office, then to Mudchute Train Station and then to see the Doctor, each time I got squawked at by Dumpling for leaving. He even tries to climb into my shoe as I am putting it on and flaps his wings at the Velcro as I pull it together.

When I got back from the third trip he had decided that I wasn't allowed to go out again and attached himself firmly to my foot, determined not to let me move!

He is one determined little blighter isn't he!

Jokes, Jealous Custard and a naughty Monty

Jerry has been telling little Blueboy rude jokes again, I do wish he wouldn't try and corrupt the little youngster. Typical naughty Jerry. looks like Blueboy found it funny at least.

Custard wont let Roswell out of her sight for more than five minutes, he tries to escape off for a little while to play with Jerry or Sky and she flaps her wings at him ferociously until he pays her attention again!

Monty has been showing the Infrared dot on top of the TV who is boss and it's clearly Monty, he was dancing about and tapping on it with his beak, he actually knocked it off the TV so I had to Bluetack it on. He's also taken to landing on my hand when I am typing at my PC and biting me well it's more of a pinch really and then he flies off.

Sky talks to a young lady

I was talking on the phone and I just caught something moving on my desk out of the corner of my eye. It turns out that Sky has taken a shine to the clay painted budgie. It's strange really because all of the other birds are scared of it.

He was dancing round her, showing off, really amusing to watch :)

Hidden Budgie Karaoke

Jerry has been singing behind the wooden climbing frame, I think he thinks that if we can't see him then we can't hear him either and he can do what he likes without attracting any attention to himself. When we first got Roswell and Snowy we could barely see their eyes because they puffed themselves up so much (being beautiful big exhibition budgies) and wondered if it would hinder their sight when flying but recently we have noticed that we can see their little beady eyes a lot better, which is nice. Monty has been climbing on top of the lattice ball again (on top of the play centre) and this time telling the little plastic budgie off - we're not sure what it did wrong but all of the birds seem to tell it off and bash it with their beaks. Afternoon climb and bite session

The birds really enjoyed their vegetables and biting the wooden climbing frame that I had pegged the dill to. I think I confused them by segregating the carrot pieces that I had grated and chopped up - with some pegged together Spinach. They looked quite concerned as it it was totally wrong and they couldn't at all see what I was trying to do. Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen I aint, apparently. It's a good job I don't professionally design abodes for budgies cos they'd break down in tears and refuse to pay me. Enjoy the pics, honk if you like 'em :)
