This was emailed from my phone hence the poorer than usual quality, just thought it was a cute moment!

It’s been a real pose party here this morning, all the lovely budgies vying for attention. Jerry sprang into action when “Real Wild Child” was played on the radio, I think it should be his theme tune.
Snowy “Is my Lippy straight?”
It’s not Jerry you want to photograph, it’s me me ME, I’m Mr Marvellous
Jerry looks pretty good though, very thoughtful!
This grit is so interesting but not as interesting as me, right?
a Monty complete with Halo!
Oh Monty you do tell some funny jokes!
I have a very fluffy bottom you know.
Monty would like to explain what he was up to in these photos, he assures me that he’s not always being naughty and that he is very misunderstood.
To the normal cynical eye it might have looked like I was positioning myself about to Poo on Jerry. I was actually just stretching my wings contemplating Zen thoughts.
This is pretty self-explanatory, I was being a Life Guard Budgie and ready to grab Jerry's tail and pull him out of the Budgie Bath should he get into trouble. Our owner has not provided us with water wings, a life raft or rubber ducky.
Another safety issue here, I was NOT about to jump in the middle of the herbs and spoil everyone's fun by claiming them as my own, I was thinking about stopping that clumsy Roswell from pushing the pot over onto Jerry.
I was just going to throw the Green ball in so that they could have as much fund with that as they are with the red one in MY erm.. the budgie bath.
People have said that I look guilty like I was “caught out” in this photo, I can't say I know what they mean, I was just enjoying a joke with Jerry. We’re good chums.
I wasn’t at all sick of the camera being poked in my face at every opportunity, I was just doing a bit of Paper Crunching and decided on a rest.
I hope that this concludes today's lesson and you can all see I am an adorable loveable scamp and not at all scary, bossy or evil.
It has been almost 6 months now since Eric left us to live in the land of millet and swings.
We brought Eric home at the same time as Monty, we watched them both in the Pet Shop and saw that Monty followed Eric whenever he jumped from perch to perch in the cage. It would have been a shame to buy just one of them and leave their friend behind, so we didn’t – well we were looking for a pair of budgies.
Eric was a fun little guy and a very pretty recessive pied sky blue budgie.
He loved his swing – every night at 9.30 he would jump on it for “Budgie Bed time”. But Eric never sang or head bobbed (we thought he was just quiet), however he had a healthy appetite (especially for millet) and was great friends with Monty – they preened each other and Monty fed Eric, Eric put up with Monty’s bossiness and over-excitedness.
We only had him for two months before he passed away but we’re glad that he got to spend those two months with us and with Monty.
Monty didn’t sing or head-bob in front of the mirror for a whole week after Eric died – he was in mourning or whatever passes for bereavement for a budgie.
After a week we got Monty two new budgie friends – Snowy and Roswell and with the later addition of Jerry it sure is a lively house.
I have put together a selection of my favourite photographs of Eric, some with his best bud Monty and some of him just having fun and EATING – Eric loved to munch.
The SWING – Eric loved doing this.
GIMME MILLET!
BEST FRIENDS
You’re not in our gang, are you edible?
Mr Monty why do you keep dropping millet over the edge, it’s a waste!
Perched on top of one of their favourite spots – the Chinese symbol for Happiness.
I’ll pose for the camera and play with the new toy if I can have millet
My favourite picture of Monty and Eric, I have it on a mug :)
Holding the budgies – yes millet was involved..
Nope, there’s nothing on TV, there will be by the time we have finished
