Din Dins for the Fiends

The fiends are currently dining on a lovely nutritious meal of Sweetcorn niblets, Broccoli and Carrot enriched with sprinklings of Harrison's bird pellets, Avian seaweed and a tiny sprinkle of Guardian Angel.

I expect to find tiny sweetcorn husks all over the lino in about oooh five minutes!

Gotta love 'em, but they certainly do keep me busy.

  1. It all looks very appetising. :)
Would be handy if they ate over the food dish & didn't fling it about or fly with half eaten bits in their beaks. ;-)

  2. How did you introduce your budgies to eating outside the cage as I have tried with mine and they just ignore it. They also tend to ignore things that are unfamilar to them like vegetables :)

  3. Getting budgies to change in any way is a slow process. If you can find something that they really like - such as millet - put that on top of the cage, bet they'll explore it eventually :)

Mine love grated veg but they haven't always liked vegetables. The trick is to get the bravest one over to give it a try. When the others realise that it wont murder them, they'll want a try too!
